How do I get to the court of Oryx Destiny 2?
To access The Court of Oryx, select the Patrol option from the Dreadnaught of your location director, head right from the spawn point, through the door and down the corridor. Watch the video above for the exact location. You’ll be able to see immediately if a public event in progress.
How does the Court of Oryx work?
The Court of Oryx is a patrol activity set on the Dreadnaught, the new area introduced by The Taken King. It allows you to spawn your own public events, kill bosses and collect loot. If you want to spawn your own boss fight, you need to jump over to a corridor full of totems to sacrifice a Rune.

How do you get a stolen Rune?
Stolen Rune can be acquired from completing Tier 1 Court of Oryx events, chests in Dreadnaught, purchased from Eris Morn at rank 5 for 1500 glimmer and 20 Black Wax Idol.

You access the Court of Oryx by choosing the Level 35 Patrol option on the Dreadnaught. You must finish a quest called Dread Patrol before you unlock this. There are three statues in the hallway prior to the Court of Oryx.

The first tier of the Court of Oryx has six possible boss battle that occur in the arena, and they’re all Level 36 enemies so you should have at least 190 Light. This is an ideal battle for a three-person Fire team that’s completed The Taken King story and are looking to see what the Court of Oryx offers.
What kind of runes do you need in the Court of Oryx?
Each tier has a recommended Light level and requires a specific type or Summoning Rune to be sacrificed in order begin your session in the Court of Oryx. Reciprocal Runes are fairly easy to find compared to some of the other Runes.
