Cellular PVC board (polyvinyl chloride) azek trim is a close cousin of the familiar white plastic plumbing pipes. (The “cellular” part just means it’s filled with zillions of tiny air bubbles to make the material lighter and less expensive to manufacture.)
Does AZEK Trim boards come in colors?
No way to get around this one: Azek only comes in white, and it is flat. So if you are looking for a different color or sheen, you have no choice but to paint. If selecting a darker color with a Light Reflective Value (LRV) lower than 55, you will need to select a vinyl safe color.
How do you clean AZEK Trim?
To clean AZEK Trim, power wash or hose off any loose dirt or debris. Always test the setting for the power washer to ensure it will not damage the surface of the trim. If the surface does not come clean, use TimberTech Deck Cleaner™ and a medium nylon bristle brush. Rinse clean with a hose or power washer.

The material utterly resists moisture. Because it’s so strong, you can power wash AZEK decking. Just keep the pressure under 1200 PSI. People with industrial strength power washers should tone it down on all products.

Surface mold and mildew on an AZEK Deck can be removed using an all-surface deck cleaner or a 1 to 4 mixture of bleach and water. Apply cleaner or mixture, use a nylon bristle brush and scrub the area until the mold or mildew is removed. Rinse the area thoroughly and towel dry.
