What Virtex 6?
What Virtex 6?
Virtex®-6 FPGAs are the programmable silicon foundation for Targeted Design Platforms that deliver integrated software and hardware components to enable designers to focus on innovation as soon as their development cycle begins.
What is Xilinx Virtex?
Virtex is the flagship family of FPGA products developed by Xilinx. Other current product lines include Kintex (mid-range) and Artix (low-cost), each including configurations and models optimized for different applications.
Does vivado support Virtex 6?
Yes, virtex-6 isn’t supported in vivado. You will need to use ISE tools. 7-series and latest ultrascale devices are supported in Vivado.
What Virtex 7 FPGA?
Virtex®-7 FPGAs are optimized for system performance and integration at 28nm and bring best-in-class performance/watt fabric, DSP performance, and I/O bandwidth to your designs. The family is used in an array of applications such as 10G to 100G networking, portable radar, and ASIC Prototyping.
What Virtex 5?
Built on a 65-nm state-of-the-art copper process technology, Virtex-5 FPGAs are a programmable alternative to custom ASIC technology. The Virtex-5 LXT, SXT, TXT, and FXT platforms include advanced high-speed serial connectivity and link/transaction layer capability.
What is the difference between vivado and Xilinx?
XILINX ISE/EDK are the old tools that are to be used for all Virtex-6 and older devices and that can be used for some small/middle-size Virtex-7 devices. Vivado program is latest version and supported by Xilinx for new version. So Vivado is better than ISE, if you don’t use Artix, Virtex, Kintex 3,4,5,6 series FPGA.
How many times can you reprogram an FPGA?
Altera guarantees you can reprogram windowed EPROM-based devices at least 25 times. Altera does not specify the number of times you can reprogram or reconfigure FPGA devices because these devices are SRAM-based. An SRAM-based device can be reconfigured as often as a design requires; there is no specific limit.
What are the features of The Virtex-6 FPGA?
In additi on to the high-performance logic fabric, Virtex-6 FPGAs contain many built- in system-level blocks. These features allow logic designers to build the highest levels of performance and functionality into their FPGA- based systems.
Is the Internet Explorer browser supported by Virtex-6?
