West Green Lake Beach Starting June 26, the west beach at Green Lake Park will be open daily, weather permitting, from noon to 7 p.m. on weekdays, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Beaches will be open until Labor Day.

How did Green Lake Park get its fill?
The last fill deposited in Green Lake was from the excavation of Aurora Avenue. Seattle Parks and Recreation’s Planning and Development Division lead a pilot project to implement lining of multiple tennis court sites for pickleball. The sites were lined for shared use by both pickleball and tennis players.
