We have four all-you-care-to-eat Residential Restaurants conveniently located in Carnesale Commons, Covel Commons, De Neve Plaza, and Rieber Court. You may also choose from our four Quick-Service Restaurants, which include Bruin Café, Café 1919, De Neve Late Night, and Rendezvous.

At UCLA, we have nationally acclaimed, award-winning dining facilities and programs. Among the many choices are Pan-Asian cuisine, Mediterranean delights, wood-fired pizza at Covel Commons and classic American favorites in the wee hours at the De Neve Late Night.
Are UCLA dining halls open to the public?
Currently our residential restaurants are only open to those living in the on-campus residential halls located on the Hill.

What is the food plan at UCLA?
This is our most flexible meal plan. It offers a preset number of meals at the beginning of each academic quarter. Unused meals carry over from week to week and can be used at any time during the quarter for extra meals and snacks for you, your friends, or family. All meals must be used by the end of the quarter.

- 19 Regular. Our most cost-effective plan, the 19 Regular, is designed for students who wish to eat in the residential dining facilities most of the time.

Covel Commons is inspired by flavors from the Mediterranean. Guests can enjoy dishes inspired by the villas and villages countries such as Lebanon, Spain, Turkey, France, Israel and Italy to name a few. Covel invites you to think beyond pasta and explore the flavors of earthy and aromatic ingredients, which appeal to each of your five senses.
What do new student advisors do at UCLA?
In Spring, our New Student Advisors will be holding Bruin to Bruin sessions, small group discussions about important dates, deadlines, placement examinations, and much more. Students are welcome to ask our New Student Advisors any questions they have about UCLA.
