The parking lot opens as early as 9:15 am, shuttles start bringing people from the parking lots to the park at 9:45 am and the gates open at 9:45 am but rides and concessions and shops do not open/operate until 10:00 am.

With regard to parking, there are over 5000 parking lots available. General parking costs $20 while preferred parking (spots closer to the entrance of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay) costs $26. Take note that the parking areas are on the opposite side of the road of Busch Gardens.

Almost all the thrill rides at Busch Gardens require riders to rent a locker to store their personal items, like back packs, purses, and/or cameras, while riding.. Even better, you can wear a fanny pack or running belt (like a flip belt) to secure your items.

No outside food, beverages, or coolers are allowed to be brought into Busch Garden Tampa Bay, except you may bring a bottle of water or a refillable water bottle. Guest should contact Park Security when they arrive at the Park for approval to bring in special dietary foods.
