How do I stop Specsavers sending me letters?

Please contact your local store if you would like to:

  1. Tell us about a change of name and address.
  2. Stop receiving marketing letters, emails, text messages or calls.
  3. Obtain a copy of your prescription.

Can I change my Specsavers branch?

Answer: Yes, we can transfer your records to any Specsavers store to ensure your details are kept up to date. If you are wanting to use a different store, please let us know by providing your current store details, the store you are looking to visit and any dates if applicable here.

Can you cancel a Specsavers appointment online?

Can I amend it online? Answer: Yes, you can amend your booking either from the booking confirmation email or the confirmation page that you get immediately after your booking.

Can specsavers send me my prescription?

To get a copy of your prescription, no appointment is necessary.

Can I return my glasses to Specsavers if I don’t like them?

Can I return products if I am not happy with them? Answer: Yes, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase at Specsavers. If you have any concerns within 100 days of the date of purchase, we will put it right.

How much is a Specsavers contact lens check?

Answer: The cost of a Specsavers eye test varies, but it’s around £20-25. When you book an eye test, you can also book an additional Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) test. In most stores, the cost of our hospital-grade OCT appointments is just £10 but in some Scottish stores this may vary.

Are contact lenses free for under 16 Specsavers?

As long as your child has an up-to-date prescription, they’ll get a free trial to see if they get on with them.

Will Specsavers change my glasses if I don’t like them?

Can my optician refuse to give me my prescription?

An optician is obliged to provide you with the written prescription following the eye examination. By law, the prescription must provide the basic results of the eye examination.

Do you have to wear face coverings at Specsavers?

Face coverings need to be worn when attending, unless you’re in an exempt category or location. Please be mindful of local coronavirus restrictions when you visit. IMPORTANT: If you/any of your household have COVID-19 symptoms or are self-isolating, please wait 14 days before booking and tell the store.

Can a Specsavers member use my personal information?

Can you get 3D eye scan at Specsavers?

With a choice of Specsavers stores in your area, it’s easy to get your eyes checked by an expert. Our eye tests are bulk billed and include a free OCT 3D eye scan that detects and often prevents serious eye conditions, years ahead. We also have over 1,000 frames for you to choose from, including big designer names.
