Even though it sounds like using the Graphics Processor acceleration, Lightroom will run faster, I’ve found that in practice, this is most definitely not the case. If your computer is anything like my MacBook Pro 13″ 2015, turning on the Graphics Processor acceleration causes weird glitches in the Develop module.
