Cengage Learning Testing powered by Cognero is a flexible online system that allows you to create, edit and deliver tests to your students in and out of the classroom. Cognero is a free tool available to anyone with a Cengage account.

How do I access Cognero?

Access Cognero

1. Sign in to the Instructor Center at faculty.cengage.com.
2. If you have not already done so, add the textbook or product you want to use to your library.
3. Click My Library and locate your textbook.
4. Click Resources.
5. Scroll down and click Instructor Supplements.
6. Click Launch.

How do I create a test on Cengage?

Create a Test

1. Click Test > Continue.
2. Enter the test information.
3. The Available Questions page opens and lists the available content sources.
4. Optional: To filter questions based on the difficulty, gradability, and other factors, clear and select the checkboxes.
5. The Included Questions page opens.

How do I use Cengage test bank?

1. Log into Cengage.com. Sign in or get a new account. (
2. Type in the ISBN and click search.
3. When you locate your book, click Instructor Companion Site.
4. The best option is Blackboard 9x.

Does cengage track cheating?

Analytics tracks student engagement with an algorithm that includes the amount of time spent in MindTap, the number of activities accessed and the number of times students log into MindTap. Students will either have low, medium or high engagement.
