The main attraction (Bounce Below) has a minimum age of 7 and when we went there were adult and children of around the age of 10 in the same group and no accidents happened. You can get more info in the “Can I Take Part” section of the Bounce Below website.
Is bounce below good?
Bounce Below are trampolines which are suspended in an old abandoned mine cave. You have a complete hour on the trampolines and the organisation is excellent, a light flashes the same colour as your wrist band to tell you your time is up. Brilliant time and will definitely go again.

Bounce Below is the first facility of its kind in the world, located at the Zip World Titan site near Blaenau Ffestiniog, North Wales. Hidden underground in a 176-year old disused cavern, that is twice the size of St Paul’s Cathedral, you will find this subterranean playground, installed with huge ‘bouncy nets’!
What do you wear to bounce below?
Zip World Caverns & Bounce Below: Please wear suitable clothing that covers your arms and legs, preferably old garments in the likelihood of dirt/damage occurring. For Caverns, please wear either trainers or walking boots; for Bounce Below, please wear trainers.
Can you take dogs to zip world?
Yes, you can take a dog on site – there is wonderful walking around the area if you get there early; you would have to leave the dog in the car if you are all flying – about a two hour period. Enjoy your flight – it’s fab 🙂 over a year ago.

The activity lasted approximately one hour and we were free to bounce, climb, slide and make our way around the three levels of netting. That first step was surprisingly scary, as the deep cavernous void loomed below.

Dogs can take part on the velocity zip wire experience but only certain conditions- the dog must be able to talk full English and have a suitable guardian over the age of 9. He must also be able to eat with his hands and not be afraid of heights.

Are there spectator tickets for Bounce Below Snowdown?
Spectator tickets are also available if the idea of all that bouncing around is a bit much for you! With 6 trampoline-style nets built into an area twice the size of St. Paul’s Cathedral, there’s plenty to be explored in this subterranean wonderland. Bounce Below also isn’t the only adventure we have at our Slate Caverns site.
How old do you have to be to go to bounce below?
Entry is for 1 hour and is definitely worth considering during your time in North Wales. Unfortunately, children under the age of seven years old are not permitted to use Bounce Below for health and safety reasons (and everyone who does go on has to wear the provided safety gear).
