What is Ciis in Colorado?
The Colorado Immunization Information System (CIIS) is a lifelong immunization record tracking system under the Colorado Immunization Registry Act of 2007. CIIS and all people and entities that access immunization records are required to maintain the confidentiality of those records.
Who can access Ciis?
CIIS must protect the privacy of all users, including children, families and providers. Access to the system must be authorized by CIIS and users must sign an agreement and follow strict confidentiality and security policies.
How can I get my child’s immunization records?

After the initial tetanus series, booster shots are recommended every 10 years. If you experience a puncture wound, it’s best to get the booster shot regardless of when you had your last tetanus shot.
