How do you use MuLab?
Lets start with a new session. Therefore, click the “File” menu button at the top left and choose “New Session”. MuLab automatically creates 4 tracks in the Composer, and 4 racks in the Rack Desk. Tracks are used to contain the musical parts in your music like rhythms, basslines, melodies etc…
Is MuLab free?
MuLab Free is a light version of MuLab and is fully functional without a user key. It has some restrictions compared to the MuLab full version, see the details on this doc page. MuLab Free can also be used as an alternative for demoing MuLab.
What is Podium free?
Podium Free is a freeware edition of Podium. It is fully functional with only a few feature limitations. Download and installation does not require registration.

MuTools has announced the release of MuLab 4.1 (actually v4.1.8). The Session Modular Area has been replaced by a complete MUX resulting in these benefits: Simplified MuLab architecture. You can make a custom Play Editor with session parameters/editors. You can use session-level meta-parameters.
