Are WTB Ranger tires tubeless compatible?
Tech Info: WTB designed the Ranger to fit 27.5- and 29-inch wheels in 2.0 or 2.25-inch widths. The 29er diameter only comes in the 2.25 width. The Ranger is tubeless-ready and comes in Light/Fast Rolling and Light/High Grip compounds. WTB claims these will roll well in mud and loose-over-hard-pack terrain.
Do WTB wheels come with tubeless tape?
Usually you have to tape them, even though they are “tubeless ready” they generally come with standard rim tape or rim strip. That said I have seen lots of WTB rims that did come taped for tubeless straight from the factory.
How do you tell if you have tubeless MTB tires?

Can I put a tubeless tire on a tube rim?
Can you put a tubeless tire on a tubed wheel? You’d have to seal everything up with either some goo or a rubber liner to make the wheel airtight (it probably won’t stay airtight). More importantly, the tubeless tire’s bead will probably not seat properly and seal on the tube-type wheel’s rim.
