This combination medication is used to help relieve moderate to severe pain. It contains an opioid pain reliever (dihydrocodeine), a non-opioid pain reliever (acetaminophen), and caffeine. Dihydrocodeine works in the brain to change how your body feels and responds to pain. Acetaminophen can also reduce a fever.
Can you get high on Trezix?
TREZIX™ contains dihydrocodeine bitartrate, a substance with a high potential for abuse similar to other Schedule III opioids. TREZIX™ can be abused and is subject to misuse, addiction, and criminal diversion [see WARNINGS].
Is tramadol as strong as hydromorphone?
Ultram (tramadol) works well for pain. Although it’s a little weaker than other opioids, it can still be addictive. Treats moderate to severe pain. Dilaudid (hydromorphone) is a powerful pain reliever that has significant risks for abuse and overdose.

How do you get prescribed Trezix?
Take your prescribed dose of 2 Trezix capsules orally every 4 hours, as needed. Do not take more than your prescribed dose. If you miss a dose, take your next dose at your usual time. Call your healthcare provider if the dose you are taking does not control your pain.
What does Fioricet do?
This combination medication is used to treat tension headaches. Acetaminophen helps to decrease the pain from the headache. Caffeine helps increase the effects of acetaminophen. Butalbital is a sedative that helps to decrease anxiety and cause sleepiness and relaxation.
