What is the ISM Adamo saddle?
The ISM Adamo Road Saddle incorporates more gel, more foam padding and a slightly wider cutout between the front arms than other mdoels. Many athletes prefer this model for 70.3 and Ironman distance competition. The additional padding also lends itself for riding on and off the aero bars.
Are ISM Saddles any good?

This model was intended to be more of a ‘road’ saddle, insomuch that it is longer and looks a little bit more like a traditional saddle (at least when viewed from the side). As you can see, although the ISM saddle is further to the rear, and slightly lower than the traditional seat, the rider’s position has not changed. ISM saddles simply move the seat to a more optimal location under the rider’s body.

ISM is the brainchild of Steve Toll, an avid cyclist and swimmer living in Tampa, Florida. In the winter of 1997, following yet another painful bike ride with his wife, Laura, Steve sketched out a design for a seat he thought could eliminate the discomfort most riders experience on a traditional bike saddle.
How is the front of a saddle set up?
With traditional-style saddles, the rider tends to sit towards the rear with the saddle nose in between the rider’s legs. ISM has eliminated the front two to three inches, or five to eight centimeters, of saddle nose, so the front of the saddle must be set up this much further to the rear.
