From the 31st December 2020, Oracle are stopping extended support on 11g database. This could have a huge impact on your business if you’re running 11g, as you’ll no longer be supported.

What happened to Oracle 11g?
As new versions are released, support for the oldest versions gets retired, like in July 2019 when Microsoft stopped providing support for SQL Server 2008 and 2008 R2. The same is about to happen with Oracle, as it will stop Oracle 11g extended support on December 31st, 2020.
What does Oracle extended support cost?
Oracle Support is never cheap. It starts at 22% of your license fees and adds an additional 2-4% each year.
Is Oracle 12c end of life?
Oracle 12c (version 12.2. As such, Oracle 12c users will have known for a while that the Premier Support comes to an end on 30th November 2020 (although there is a Limited Error Correction Period which runs to 31st March 2022 – see here for details Oracle Lifetime Support Policy).

How many years of lifetime support does Oracle offer?
Oracle publishes a Lifetime Support Policy to describe each aspect of the support that it provides. In summary, each new release of Oracle Database receives five years of Premier Support from its release date. If purchased, Extended Support provides an additional three years for a total of eight.
Is there lifetime support for Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g?
The Lifetime Support Policy dates for a number of Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g R1 (11.1.1.x) releases have been extended to support customers as they plan for, and execute their upgrade to 12 c. Oracle Fusion Middleware 12 c products and features are being released over a series of minor releases (i.e. 12.1.2 – 12.1.N).
Is there support for Oracle 11.2.0.4?
