Is there a third option in the Skyrim civil war?

Is there a third option in the Skyrim civil war?

The civil war plotlines have no “third option”. You either side with the Stormcloaks and save Skyrim, side with the Imperials to control it for the elves, or stay out of it altogether.

How do you get the truce in Skyrim?

Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  1. Convince all parties to attend a truce negotiation. Talk to Arngeir to get the Greybeards to host the negotiations at High Hrothgar.
  2. Return to High Hrothgar for the negotiations.
  3. Take your seat at the negotiating table.
  4. Negotiate the treaty. Make a series of decisions about the terms of the truce.

Does season unending end the civil war?

Yes as mentioned already once Alduin is defeated the Civil War can continue. At the end of the conference based on how the negotiations went the Imperials and Stormcloaks will swap a few holds and those will be controlled by that faction until the end of the civil war.

What is Markarth worth?

Elenwen staying/leaving gives one point to the faction the decision favors, Markarth is worth 2 for Stormcloak, Riften is worth 2 for imperials, Dawnstar only worth 1 (the speech check seems to be irrelevant to the negotiation beyond getting extra speechcraft XP).

Should I join Stormcloaks or Imperials?

The ranking system in the Imperial Legion is all about hard work and the title progression feels appropriate compared to the relatively unorthodox Stormcloaks. Moreover, the armor and weapons of the Imperial Legion are of higher quality and look arguably better than the Stormcloaks’ cheap-looking gambesons.

What side should I choose in Skyrim?

Conclusion: The Empire is the better choice. It will benifit everyone better, and every reason you have to dislike them would be gone after the defeat of the Thalmor/Aldmeri Dimionion. Skyrim, the Empire, and even the independant bottom half of Hammerfell.

Can I be neutral in Skyrim?

Yes, it is possible. The main quest is not completely independent of the war, but it does not require your character to take any action to support or oppose either side in it. You won’t need any advice or hints as to how to avoid taking a side; the game will tell you what you need to know when you get there.

Should I kick out the Thalmor?

By kicking her out, you leave the Thalmor’s head justiciar at a disadvantage by postponing info; Elenwen won’t get to hear more info from Tullius or Ulfric, that can tend the war to end quicker.

Is Paarthurnax good or bad?

Paarthurnax is said to have commited great atrocities as one of Alduin’s lieutenants, and considering what Alduin did to Helgen, while nothing concrete is known, such atrocities could be horrendous, especially considering how even minor events can add up over time given the lifespans of dragons.

Can you end the war in Skyrim without choosing a side?

Who is better the Empire or Stormcloaks?

Is Ulfric a Dragonborn?
