Does laser treatment for verrucas work?

Laser works very well with large and small verrucae/warts. Larger warts are treated in part depending on their size. This is done to help to reduce the risk of tissue breakdown.

Can verrucas be lasered?

More recently, laser has been used to remove these resistant verrucas. The advantage with the laser is that it completely destroys the verruca and also the human papilloma virus. Unfortunately, treatment with the laser can be very painful.

Does NHS pay for verruca removal?

If it falls off, cut and stick on a new piece. On the morning of the 7th day, take off the duct tape, soak the wart in warm water and file off the dead skin with a pumice stone or emory board. Then leave the duct tape off for the rest of the day and night and reapply it the following morning.
