Does a SmartRider expire?

Does a SmartRider expire?

Once the expiry date passes your SmartRider will revert to a standard SmartRider and you will be charged standard fares. Before this date you can apply to have a new concession on your card, such as a Health Care Card or tertiary concession if you are continuing your studies at an eligible institution.

How do Smartriders work?

At the start and end of each journey, place your SmartRider card over the picture of the card on a card reader on the bus, on the ferry or at the train station. A beep and green light confirms a successful tag on or tag off. When you tag on, the card reader will display your remaining balance.

Can someone else use my SmartRider?

Once you have registered your SmartRider card, nobody else can register it.

How do I check how much money is on my SmartRider?

  2. online if you have registered your SmartRider card, you can check your balance by logging into My Account.
  3. by sending your SmartRider card number by SMS to 13 62 13 (Telstra, Optus and Virgin customers only) or 0456 136 213.

Can I put my SmartRider on my phone?

The free Transperth app is available to download on iOS and Android devices. By logging in to My Account, you can register and manage your SmartRider and Autoload, My Alerts email and app notifications, SmartParker and access to bike shelters. Don’t have My Account?

How do I put money on my SmartRider?

Autoload can be activated by logging into Transperth’s My Account. You can add a card in the bottom left under My SmartRider. Your SmartRider number is on the top right of your card. Click on Autoload and add your credit or debit card details and the amount you wish to be automatically added.

How much is the fine for not tapping out?

Revenue Inspection If you haven’t touched in, you’ll be charged the usual penalty fare (currently £80, reduced to £40 if you pay within 21 days) — though the inspector does have the flexibility to review your history and not give you a penalty if you don’t look like you repeatedly take the piss.

Where can I get a new SmartRider card?

What happens if you lose your SmartRider card?

Where does the information from SmartRider get stored?

The SmartRider system is currently a card based system, where the information from your travel is stored on your card. Unfortunately we are unable to keep the Transperth website and app immediately up to date with every transaction that occurs.
