The Scion FRS uses a 5×100 bolt pattern with wheel diameters usually ranging from 17 to 20 inches, widths from 7 to 8.5 inches, and offsets from +35 to +48.

How do you calculate wheel offset?

Subtract the smaller number from the larger number. That gives you the offset of the wheel. If the centerline number is smaller than the hub measurement, offset is positive.

How do you know if offset will fit?

Put simply, to find if your wheels will fit your car, measure the distance from your wheel’s center point to where it is mounted. This is the offset. Add that to half your wheel’s width to find the back space and subtract it to find the front space. Compare this to your wheel well to see if it fits.

Does 5×100 fit 5×114 3?

As indicated in the picture, 5×114. 3 would mean 5 lugs (or holes) with the diameter of the circle making 114.3 mm. A 5×100 would also have 5 holes, but the circle would be 14.3 mm smaller, thus making the two incompatible.

Is positive offset in or out?

If the wheel offset is positive, the wheel mounting surface is towards the front of the wheel, forward of the centerline. If the wheel offset is negative, the mounting surface is to the back of the centerline of the wheel.
