Now the 2019 and 2018 Capita DOA is much better than in the past and feels like it can handle more uneven snow of all kinds. Approximate Weight- Pretty light for its price but I’d say it’s more on the normal side. Edge Hold: the edge hold is more of a good snowboard that doesn’t hold that well in harder snow.

What’s the new base for the capita DOA?
The 2020 DOA got a new base – the Quantum Drive Base, but otherwise is pretty much identical to the 2019 model – apart from the graphic. As far as I can tell, the DOA is essentially the same board for the 2019 model as it was for the 2018 model, apart from the new graphic.
Is the Capita Defenders of Awesome still the same?
The overall flex of the 2018 and 2019 Capita DOA feels like it’s easier to butter but it’s not any less poppy and overall flex has seemed to improve the last few seasons. The 2018 and 2019 Capita Capita Defenders Of Awesome are the same rides so the 2018 review still stands.
Which is better the capita DOA or the Outsiders?
Turning Experience/Carving: The Capita DOA carves pretty well but it isn’t a super carver. Even though the Outsiders is softer in flex we had more rewarding turns out of that compared to the DOA. It’s no slouch though and making turns on groomers regular and fakie/switch is pretty fun.
