How do you qualify for LCVP?
To qualify for LCVP, students must take the following:
- Two subjects in her/his Leaving Certificate from any one of the combinations below (See list of Vocational Subject Groupings.
- A continental language or a language module – unless exempt.
- Irish – unless exempt.
- A minimum of five Leaving Certificate subjects.

LCVP is a Senior Cycle Programme of the Department of Education and Skills, designed to give a strong vocational dimension to the Leaving Certificate (established). The programme combines the virtues of academic study with a new and dynamic focus on self-directed learning, enterprise, work and the community.
Is Lcvp easy?
It’s quite a common sense sort of subject, easy enough to do well in with very little study. You can get up to seventy CAO points for it, if you count it as on of your six subjects. That can make all the difference, especially for students taking a lot of ordinary level subjects.
What are the modules in the LCVP Programme?
