Hood’s six ski resorts offer tubing areas (Mt. Hood Meadows and Timberline do not). A single fee-per-person is charged, and they’ll supply the tubes—no personally-owned tubes or other sleds are allowed at the resorts.

There is no sledding allowed up at Timberline. Not near the lodge, not near our parking lots, and certainly not on the sides of our access road. Guests can tube at Timberline’s sister ski hill, Summit Ski Area, located in nearby Government Camp.

All tickets must be purchased online in advance.
What to wear to Mt Hood snow tubing?
Please do not bring your own tube or sled as snow tubes are provided. Layer up. Wear warm socks and waterproof boots. Find hats, gloves and other winter apparel in our ticket offices and in Government Camp at Mt. Hood Outfitters.
When does Mt Hood ski resort open for the season?
