What are clearing places at uni?
What is clearing? Clearing is where university applicants are matched to university places that haven’t been filled. Clearing is available to anyone who has made an application to university through the UCAS Undergraduate application process but doesn’t hold any offers.
How long is clearing available?
UCAS Clearing starts in July, and is open until October. This year, from 5th July to 19th October, you can apply for a course via Clearing. That is if you don’t already have an offer from a university or course.
