The SX series rims are not tubeless ready. All of WTB’s rims that are tubeless ready will have a TCS sticker on them. That being said you can set them up tubeless ghetto style with either using the split tube method or with gorilla tape.
Are all WTB Riddler Tyres tubeless?
The Riddler consists of a single-ply 60 TPI tubeless-ready casing and a “Dual DNA” rubber compound. For this test, we tested the 37-622 version “TCS Light / Fast Rolling” with brown sidewalls. The Riddler is also available with black sidewalls but this should make no difference in performance.

Most rims that are made particularly for tubeless tires have a higher shoulder in the inner rim that the tire bead can fit securely into. A tubeless-ready rim will also be less likely to have any spoke holes in the rim bed.

A tubeless ready rim will have a sidewall with a hooked design, which helps catch and hold the bead. Older rims will appear rounded without a hook shape. The shape of the rim will force the bead up snug against the outer hook, and will have a deep section in the middle to make it easier to remove.
