What mount does Huolon drop?
The Reins of the Thundering Onyx Cloud Serpent is a rare drop from the rare spawn, Huolon. This mount is on roughly a 1% drop rate. Huolon has roughly a 40 to 60 minute respawn time and always spawns in the same location (as seen in below image).

Simple solo as dest lock. Voidlord pet, set him to stand at a point on one side of the cliff, you stand by huolon’s tail, when he does his lightning pillar, move out of it, and likewise move your pet if it gets hit.

I started farming Huolon yesterday but I was told its spawn timer is somewhere between 30 and 60 minutes. Today I’ve seen it spawning 23 minutes and in 15 minutes after the previous kills.

Kill him, go do stuff for 30 minutes, camp, kill him, repeat. Also worth noting he has a daily “kill check”. Presumably the first kill per day has a higher chance to drop the mount. Right after someone told me this the mount dropped for me on my first kill of the day.
