Actually just switched to using Meguiars Ultimate Quick Detailer. It works great on glossy paints, chrome and even lexan windshields. I’ve used a whole myriad of products, this one is just as good as any of the others.

- Spray Bottle (24 oz.)
- Add 1 teaspoon of Meguiar’s Ultimate Wash and Wax.
- Add 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of Meguiar’s Gold Class Liquid Wax (Shake well)
- Slowly add some water until the bottle is 1/4 full, you DON”T want suds (If you want to go an extra step you could use distilled water)
What goes first wax or detailer?
Ideally, you would have completely bare paint before any protection is applied. Most QD do have trace amounts of wax in them, so be aware of that. You might not get the full benefits of the protection you use. Sealant always goes down before any other detail spray/wax/LSP.
