Does Briley make Browning chokes?

Does Briley make Browning chokes?

Browning branded choke tubes made by Briley.

Will Browning Invector Plus choke tubes?

Invector-Plus Choke Tubes Durable with excellent patterning, the Invector-Plus interchangable choke tube system has been a mainstay of Browning shotgun performance for over 20 years. Barrels marked Invector-Plus (or Invector+) are not compatible and will not accept Invector-DS or Standard Invector choke tubes.

Are Browning and Winchester Invector plus chokes the same?

Yes they are the same. Invector Plus is Invector Plus. I have 2 Browning shotguns and 2 Winchesters and they take the exact same chokes.

When did Browning introduced Invector plus chokes?

1983
The Invector, or “”Standard Invector” system” was introduced in 1983. A few years later, the Invector-Plus chokes were introduced to fit the new back-bored shotgun barrels.

Is there a difference between Invector and Invector Plus choke tubes?

The Invector Plus has about a 0.010″ larger bore than the standard Invector bore (0.740″ vs 0.730″). I have chokes and bores in both sizes and as far as I’m concerned, the Invector choke system is every bit as good as the Invector Plus system.

Are Invector chokes good?

They pattern very well. I would be highly skeptical of claims that Invector chokes aren’t any good. More than likely they are alibis for poor shooting, bad shells, or a gun that has the choke tube recesses bored out of alignment.

Can you shoot slugs thru a full choke?

Rifled slugs will shoot out of a full choke without a problem. I have seen many slugs shot and many deer killed with full choked barrels and rifled slugs. I shot slugs out of a full choke 20 gauge for deer over a dozen years. I saw one 870 with choke tubes that was 18″ low at 50 yards with an improved cylinder choke.

What is the most accurate shotgun slug?

Best 20-Gauge Slug Guns for Deer

  • The 20-gauge Savage 220 is one of the most accurate slug guns on the market.
  • This Benelli M2 is an inertia-driven semi-auto that comes with a 20-gauge rifled barrel.
  • Ithaca’s Deer Slayer III 20-gauge has a bottom-eject design, making it good for lefties too.

Will rifled slugs damage a smooth barrel?

In almost all cases, you should only use rifled slugs in smoothbore barrels. If you have a rifled shotgun barrel, you’re going to want sabot slugs. It’s counter-intuitive to what the “rifled” slug name suggests and while it may not be a catastrophic failure, you could damage the grooves in your rifled shotgun barrel.
