Will Browning Invector Plus choke tubes?
Invector-Plus Choke Tubes Durable with excellent patterning, the Invector-Plus interchangable choke tube system has been a mainstay of Browning shotgun performance for over 20 years. Barrels marked Invector-Plus (or Invector+) are not compatible and will not accept Invector-DS or Standard Invector choke tubes.

The Invector Plus has about a 0.010″ larger bore than the standard Invector bore (0.740″ vs 0.730″). I have chokes and bores in both sizes and as far as I’m concerned, the Invector choke system is every bit as good as the Invector Plus system.

They pattern very well. I would be highly skeptical of claims that Invector chokes aren’t any good. More than likely they are alibis for poor shooting, bad shells, or a gun that has the choke tube recesses bored out of alignment.

Rifled slugs will shoot out of a full choke without a problem. I have seen many slugs shot and many deer killed with full choked barrels and rifled slugs. I shot slugs out of a full choke 20 gauge for deer over a dozen years. I saw one 870 with choke tubes that was 18″ low at 50 yards with an improved cylinder choke.
