Short for metabolic conditioning, metcon describes a type of workout that most commonly combines strength and cardio conditioning, as well as both anaerobic and aerobic exercises. During a metcon workout, you moderately to intensely exert yourself for a prolonged amount of time.
Why does Clemson not have a swim team?
When the swim teams were cut, Clemson had also cited costs for repairs and operational costs as the primary reason. With the pool itself now on the chopping block, a vast number of programs, including club swimming, club water polo, club triathlon, and many other university functions will be without a facility.
