Are we independent in true sense?
For us the people of India independence means the freedom of speech,expression etc. But the true sense of independence is that we are free to do all good possible to the society without any hesitation. Celebrating Independence day every year does not signify independence.

How is India going to become an independent country?
What I feel is that India will become independent when we are free from corruption which has to be wiped off from the grass root level. In whichever sector we go, starting from the clerk level to the higher officials, everyone is corrupt. They openly demand money in order to get work done.

We have the: – RIGHT TO CONSTITUTIONAL REMEDIES. We have the rights and we do exercise them in the most appropriate way, but are we truly free? We did get freedom on 15 August 1947 from the British Rule but now we have to get freedom from a whole lot of social evils and problems that have their stronghold in India.

Where independence mean self-government, we the people in India have to pay bribe to get a basic driving license, to a traffic police, to clerk/peon in govt. office, to even get gas connection. Is this freedom, Are we really independent? I don’t have to write much about our corrupt, criminal and communal politicians.
