What’s the problem with the Humax recording box?
Having googled further I have discovered that the problem is with the Humax recording box, which is picking up audio descriptions (a sort of talking sub titles) from HD transmissions. Apparently Humax are aware of the glitch and are working on it.

Hi,I dont know your Humax model number but a quick google for a Humax manual shows a subtitle button just under a source button beneath a sliding flap ( it isn’t marked subtitle ,just a tv screen with a line of dots across) !!! – it may not be your model though. Thanks for taking the time to reply.
