How do you take Bromergon tablets?
Bromocriptine (Cycloset) is usually taken once a day with food within 2 hours of waking in the morning. Take bromocriptine at around the same time(s) every day. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand.
When should I start taking Bromergon?
We recommend that you start the medication with the onset of a period so that you do not take it unnecessarily if you are pregnant. You should start with ½ tablet at night right before you go to bed for the first week. This allows your body to get accustomed to the medication while you are asleep.

How much bromocriptine should I take?
The following scheme is suggested: Initially, 1mg to 1.25mg at bed time, increasing after 2 to 3 days to 2mg to 2.5mg at bed time. Dosage may then be increased by 1mg at 2 to 3 day intervals, until a dosage of 2.5mg twice daily is achieved. Further dosage increments, if necessary, should be added in a similar manner.
