By providing empowerment, protection and support for our tamariki and whanau; like the Totara, it grows slowly but as it matures it develops confidence, strength and determination to cope and weather storms and situations; thus gaining inclusiveness, toleration and durability.

What is the focus of Homai Nga Taonga?
Our focus is to support tamariki to become confident and competent learners. At Homai Nga Taonga Childhood Centre there is a special relationship with the Homai Primary School, the Adult Learning Centre and the local community.
