Nice beach and worth a visit. Not lifeguarded at the time of our visit. A pretty place backed by a nice village and sand dunes. Beautiful beach, my eldest daughter and I walked the length followed by a friendly seal from Caister camp to The lifeboat centre.

Pool at Caister is much, much nicer. (Although seashore has recently had a complete pool re vamp so is the best of the Norfolk sites in that regard). We enjoyed Hopton but liked the beach at Caister much more, it felt like you could actually walk along it more whereas Hopton the beach is separated into walled / wooden pegged segments.
