From my research, the 2004 CLK500 is fairly reliable, comfortable, has a good amount of power, and looks nice. I would be looking for a coupe so no need to worry about soft-top problems. The 2004 was the last year of the 5 speed automatic on these cars, so no need to worry about the rocky introduction of the 7 speeds.
