Bought an M1 Super 90. Much easier to hit with, it has a stepped up higher rib than the Monte. I could throw that up and hit with it more naturally. Traded the Monte in for the Sport II for Sporting and Trap. It’s the wood version of the SS. Shot it very well.

I shot Montefeltro 12 ga from time to time, mostly at SC. 1) More felt recoil from Montefeltro. 2) Benelli is super easy to clean. I’ve owned 3 Benelli’s. Started with the Montefeltro. I liked it quite well but I had to concentrate on keeping my head down firm on the stock to hit with it due to the low rib.
