The Cavern Pub, Festival Restaurant and the Magical Mystery Tour will continue to operate. “Due to local lockdown restrictions announced earlier today, regrettably we are forced to close the Cavern Club until further notice. The new regulations simply make it impossible for us to operate.
What happened to the real Cavern Club?
A new Cavern Club opened across the road from the original on 27th May 1973 with the iconic sign hanging above the new entrance until it was blown down in 1992 in bad weather and destroyed. The new Cavern Club changed its name to the Revolution Club in March 1976 but it unfortunately closed again on 14th April 1976.

For general admission to the Cavern Club after 8pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday you can check ticket* prices and buy online here at a discounted rate. Admission to the Cavern Pub is free. *Please note that large parties will be admitted to the venue at the discretion of the door staff.
