A medium-sized tablet will work PERFECTLY FINE as well (I use one at work professionally), but I would seriously recommend against a small tablet. Love ‘m. Never had an issue with the Intuos (like micro jitter or weird movement near the edge.) Expensive but for professional use worth it as far as my experience go.
