The road less traveled is an environmentally & human conscious store dedicated to bringing alternatives to every aspect of life.  

Every product in our store specializes in 1 of 4 major categories:
*recycled content:  post-consumer, surplus, discarded & repurposed materials.
*sustainable resource:  made of materials that require little of the planet or are easily renewable.
*non-toxic: chemical, pesticide, herbicide-free.  Certified organic origins.
*fair-trade:  fair and equal labor practices, cooperative produced, direct artisan purchased.

Located in Orange County (city of Santa Ana), California we not only provide eco-friendly products, but strive to create a better world through our business and in everything that we do.  That means we:

• investigate the businesses we do business with to ensure that you are receiving fair and honest products.
• recycle as much of our waste as possible (even our packaging)
• buy produce and food from our local farmers (events & décor)
• hire/contract local businesses for all events & services
• clean our store in safe cleaning products
• partake in our local government to make change
• use only recycled content paper w/ safe printing methods
• construct our store in eco-friendly building material
• donate to local eco-friendly organizations
• are actively involved in urban beautification
• engage with local farms to provide CSAs (community supported agriculture) through our store
• use only energy efficient lighting
• create workshops to educate the public on sustainable/healthy living
