Was Isildur corrupted by the ring?
I find that Isildur is mostly depicted throughout Tolkiens works as someone who was so easily corrupted by the ring and that that was his biggest flaw.

It was only the 3 Elven rings which were uncorrupted. So why didn’t the Dwarf-lords become wraiths like the Nazgul did? The dwarves were resistant to their corruption (unexpectedly), it just made them greedier for gold and gems. The 3 elvish rings were actually not made by Sauron as well.
