Documents required for a fresh passport

  • Photo passbook of running bank account in any public sector bank, private sector bank and regional rural banks.
  • A voter ID card.
  • Aadhaar card.
  • Electricity bill.
  • Rent agreement.
  • Driving license.
  • PAN card.
  • Landline or postpaid mobile bill.

Do we need original documents for passport?

Applicants are required to furnish original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies of the same at the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) for processing.

Is surname mandatory in passport?

You must furnish your full name as you want it to appear on your passport.
