Got a 1997 JD 425 here, with a 20hp “wet” Kaw twin engine. I just bought this tractor last fall, and have used it 3 times so far this year.

I have a 1998 John Deere 425 that’s having the same problem and I’ve changed the left side coil and cut both plastic plugs off and hard wired them and changed the timing delay, twice and still doing it, sometime it starts right up and runs for a while, and then the cylinder stops firing, why ??
