The Astral Claws were a Space Marine Chapter created during the mid-35th Millennium’s 10th Founding from an unknown genetic origin. Upon losing this conflict to Loyalist Imperial forces, including several other Space Marine Chapters, the surviving Astral Claws were corrupted by Chaos and fled into the Maelstrom.

Overall the Deathwatch made out OK with points but may suffer a bit in early 9th edition due to the way they operate as an army but it’s hard to evaluate the faction knowing that they’ll get a major change to their structure in two months.
