How did JEFF together start?

JEFF Together was started at the end of March 2020 at the start of the corona virus lockdown in South Africa. Our goal was simply to get people to join us for live workouts in Johno’s home to feel connected and stay fit and healthy. The positive response from all over the world has been incredible!

What is LIIT training?

LIIT, or low-intensity interval training, is made up of a mix of low-impact exercise intervals and generous rest intervals. As it’s low impact, LIIT is a particularly great form of exercise for fitness newbies and anyone with a higher risk of injury, such as older and obese people.

Is walking better than HIIT?

Obviously, if you walk for 30 minutes, it’s not going to burn as many calories as 30 minutes of high-intensity interval training (HIIT). Walking won’t necessarily make you lose more weight than HIIT — we can’t promise that. But it is actually a way healthier option.

Is LIIT better than HIIT?

LIIT is as effective as HIIT. This form of physical activity helps to increase mobility, improve strength and cardiovascular endurance.
