How does NEDSS keep track of who you are?
No one can read or access the data that is being transmitted. Finally, after you sign in, NEDSS keeps track of who you are by using a computer-generated key rather than your NEDSS user name. This key, a Globally Unique Identifier (or GUID for short), changes each time you visit the site, which makes it very difficult for anyone else to pose as you.
How is the information exchanged with NEDSS encrypted?
All of the information you exchange with NEDSS (including your sign-in name and password during the login process) is encrypted and then sent over the Internet using an SSL connection. No one can read or access the data that is being transmitted.
