What is Tapestry assessment?

Tapestry is an on-line system which allows us to create an individual Learning journey for every child in Reception. We can add comments, notes, photographs and videos of your child and then link these to the Early Years Curriculum.

How does tapestry EYFS work?

How does Tapestry work? Tapestry provides each individual child with their own Learning Journal held online. They can then upload observations, photos or videos; recording children’s achievements and assessing their learning in reference to the EYFS curriculum.

How do parents use Tapestry?

Select your child from the drop down menu. Enter a title and observation notes for your observation (see details on this later). Add photos or video (max 1min in length) using the add files button then click start upload. Finally, save your observation by clicking save.

How do you add activities?

You can manually add activity to your Google Fit activity history or edit an activity that’s already there….Add info you didn’t track with Fit

  1. On your Android phone, open the Google Fit app .
  2. At the bottom right, tap Add .
  3. Tap Add weight or Add activity .
  4. Enter your information and tap Save.

What do the tiers mean on tapestry?

Tapestry calls these descriptive categories ‘tiers’. The next job is to decide what you are going to call them. Can you have 2 Tapestry accounts?

I have accounts at more than one setting You can click on each of them and be logged in if the password you entered is correct for that account. If you are using our old app you will have to have a different password for each Tapestry account.
