Vitality Drive is Discovery Insure’s unique driver behaviour programme that rewards you for driving well. To encourage you to become a better driver and stay safe on the roads, you get access to a range of service and reward partners.
How does Discovery fuel cash back work?
You can get up to 50% fuel cash back every month when you fill up at BP or Shell or load money onto your Gautrain Swift card. Each Vitality Drive Point you earn enables you to get fuel cash back on R1 of fuel or Gautrain spend or both.
How do I link my discovery fuel card?
- Your Vitality Drive card must be collected from a Tiger Wheel & Tyre store.
- Check your card is linked by logging into www.discovery.co.za and select Link and manage your cards. A Tiger Wheel & Tyre technician can help you with this.
- Alternatively, if your card is not linked, then link your card on the website.
How can you Maximise your fuel spend cash back percentage?
You can increase your cash back percentage by adding home insurance (household contents, buildings or both) of at least R250 000 to your Plan and completing and passing the Annual MultiPoint check which can be completed at a Discovery Drive Centre or Tiger Wheel & Tyre store.
Is vitality worth driving?
You can complete the course in twenty minutes, but you need to do at least 50 minutes of testing. This will give you 50 points. You can buy an advanced course for R200, which will give you another 100 points. These 100 points will earn you R600 during the year, so in theory, it is worth it.
How much does vitality drive cost?
You can join Vitality Drive fuel reward option for R63 a month for each primary driver if your only motor vehicle is a motorcycle and you have insured your household contents or buildings for at least R250 000. You cannot join Vitality Drive through Drive your Discount if you only insure your motorcycle.

- Find a participating Shell or other select fuel station.
- When prompted at the pump, select “Rewards” then “Fuel Rewards” or “FRN”
- Key-in your Alt ID before you pay.
- Insert your credit or debit card to finish the transaction.

As a Discovery Bank client, your Vitality HealthyCare rewards are awarded as Discovery Miles and paid into your Discovery Miles account. You can view your rewards on your Discovery Miles statement in your Discovery Bank app.
How do I convert my discovery miles to cash?
