The best Thresh runes for Support are Resolve as the Primary and Inspiration as a Secondary. Within the Resolve tree, The Best Keystone Rune used will be Aftershock.
What kind of support is Thresh?

Thresh is a lane dominant Support. This means he can often win lane and win the game just by getting kills. Q in the mid-game could snowball into a huge advantage.

Rammus is a horrible support. The problem is he not only gets shat on in lane against people with a brain in any matchup, and he doesn’t have the go,d income from support to build how he wants.

Why is Lux a bad support?
lux is a high economy mage who drops off comparativly early in the game. primarily her kit isn’t bad for support, but given its mana costs and reliance on autoattacks to “burst” shes nowhere near optimal, and she builds VERY expensive items to stay relevent.
Is Lux better mid or support?
Mid Lux works because she have gold to buy items and do damage. Support Lux is trash because she has no gold to buy damage items, so she does no damage.
Can Thresh be an ADC?
No. He lacks trading potential versus a competent opponent. His hook doesn’t deal much dmg. His lantern deals no dmg and could only be used to save his support, which is dumb because a support with a dead ADC is fairly useless.
