The 33rd annual Spooktacular at Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, presented by Aquafina, will run between Oct. 23-31 from 5-8 p.m. Additional time slots will be available select nights from 7-10 p.m. The Zoo claims it will be “as wicked as you wish.”

There is no mask requirement in Jacksonville for certain outdoor venues such as ours, yet we strongly encourage guests to wear face masks. We also have COVID-19 park guideline signage at the entrance of the Zoo and on our website at https://www.jacksonvillezoo.org/reopening.

Do you allow outside food and beverages? Coolers or outside food and beverage are only allowed within Picnic Grove near Main Camp. They are prohibited in all other areas inside the Zoo and Gardens. Water bottles ARE allowed.

Adults Adult Volunteer applications will be processed in August 2021. Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens has a variety of opportunities for individuals who are able to dedicate at least 8 hours per month for a minimum of 6 months. We welcome anyone over the age of 18 to apply to our Adult Volunteer Program!
