Visited the Bastille Market between Christmas and New Years and was most impressed by the expansive offerings of local vendors. The vegetables and the fish were especially plentiful and beautifully displayed. Our group purchased a sweater, some leather bound journals and some croissants and crepes for breakfast.

Marche Bastille is large with ample stalls of not only food but with everyday goods as well but I am finding their prices higher than other Marches farther out. We loved Marche Daumesnil as the size is even larger but much more attractive prices.
